How we’ve supported the London Evening Standard…

As a free newspaper and online resource, the Standard’s revenue is mainly from advertising. Over the past few years MPH have offered a flexible resource to assist the marketing team on an adhoc basis, as and when the workflow is too much for the internal team to handle.

This has allowed our team to work with some high profile integrated campaigns for some of the countries most well-known brands. Our role was to create online campaign hubs to promote the events, encourage engagement and increase social activity.

The challenge for these hubs is to combine multiple elements from video, competitions, galleries, and articles all in very limited pages, whilst adhering to the guidelines from the brands involved and direction from the PR agency. The microsites also had to be built using a CMS for the PR agency and Standard team, to be able to update and add content throughout the length of the campaign.

Some of the most notable brands we’ve partnered the Standard with to create hubs for, are British Airways, Amoy, Wellcome Collection & Nook, amongst others.
