How we’ve supported GameStop…
Following our successful partnership with the UK leading video games retailer GAME for over 10 years, GameStop approached MPH to assist with the development of their in-store branding for the European market.
With our experience, we were able to hit the ground running enhancing the in-store marketing potential and available sales points. In conjunction with the in-store POS, we also developed integrated campaigns across the ecommerce website, Facebook, in-store and billboard advertising.
The most important marketing and revenue opportunities involved seasonal campaigns; Easter, Summer, January Sales, Christmas etc. For each of these seasons we presented integrated campaign concepts to attract customers into the stores and on the website. As part of the campaigns, one of the main sales incentives was the in-store catalogue. For this we would work closely with games developers such as Sony, Nintendo, Sega, Microsoft, Take2 and more, sourcing content, copywriting and ensuring the companies branding was upheld.
Product turnover in this market is extremely high. Often, briefs would require turnaround within a day, occasionally within a few hours. Our reactive team, experience and attention to detail facilitated the needs of GameStop and helped push the brand forward.
